To make the stainless steel faucet shiny as new, the following methods can be adopted:
Use toothpaste and toothbrush: Squeeze an appropriate amount of toothpaste onto the stain on the stainless steel faucet, apply evenly with an old toothbrush or scouring pad, and gently wipe. The abrasive in toothpaste can effectively remove stubborn stains. After cleaning, rinse off any remaining toothpaste with clean water and then dry the faucet with a dry cloth.
White vinegar and baking soda: Mix white vinegar and baking soda into a viscous paste, apply it to the surface of the faucet, and keep it for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, wipe off with a clean cloth, rinse with clean water, and finally wipe dry.
Microfiber cloth and white vinegar: Dip microfiber cloth in white vinegar for wiping. White vinegar will decompose water stains and make the faucet light up again.
Decontamination paste: apply the decontamination paste on the cleaning cloth, rub it into foam, gently wipe it on the stainless steel tap in a circular manner, so that the stains and decontamination paste can be fully integrated, finally wipe off the residual decontamination paste with a wet cloth, and then polish it with a mirror cloth.
Avoid using highly corrosive cleaning agents: Choose mild cleaning agents designed specifically for stainless steel or diluted white vinegar, and avoid using chlorine bleach or highly corrosive cleaning agents to prevent surface damage.
Regular maintenance: In order to maintain the long-term brightness of the faucet, it is recommended to perform regular maintenance. Stainless steel maintenance agent or car wax can be gently applied to form a protective layer and reduce the adhesion of stains.
Through the above methods, not only can stainless steel faucets be effectively cleaned, but their service life can also be extended, keeping the home environment clean and beautiful.
